Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.Job Description:The Production Supervisor may supervise one or more areas of the shop floor to support the manufacturing, loading and shipping of all orders to meet and exceed the customers quality and delivery expectations, while maintaining established safety and cost standards. The Production Supervisor must understand and support all plant safety procedures and ensure all operators follow Standard Operating Procedures.Responsibilities:Effectively work and communicate with a team to continuously improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivityOversee production lines, review downtime causes and be actively involved in issues on the floor by assisting in troubleshooting and problem solving.Create, maintain and audit Standard Work to ensure process consistency and efficiency.Develop, mentor and manage manufacturing personnel, ensuring they are properly trained to utilize equipment and tools effectively.Supervise up to 30+ production hourly employees.Review, adjust and approve timesheets and adjust work force based on workload.Promote and maintain clean, safe work area throughout the plant by proactively identifying and addressing the hazardous conditions.Follow company policy and procedures (safety, quality, productivity, discipline, order, human resources, and continuous improvement).Lead production employees in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.undefinedSome extended hours & weekends as necessarySupport additional lines, as neededPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor’s or associate degree or trade, vocation or career schooling a plusMust have high school or GED diploma3+ years of supervisor experience in manufacturingQuality experience a plusBilingual a plusProficiency in basic math skillsExcellent communicator, both verbally and writtenKnowledge of machinery and packaging equipment a plusGood decision-making skills6-S & Lean Manufacturing experience a plusProficiency using Microsoft OfficeEqual Employment OpportunityMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
