Job summary

Rice Lake West is seeking a Superintendent for project sites along the Dakotas. You will oversee daily on-site production, coordinate trades and crews, and lead safety and quality programs to ensure projects finish on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction, with crew management experience, or a Construction Management/Civil Engineering degree with relevant supervision exposure. Long-term site assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; HS diploma with ample experience accepted.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant trade experience on highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects with crew management.
• Alternative: Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree with 2+ years of supervision experience.

We have an immediate, full-time, long-term opening for a Superintendent at project sites along the Dakotas

Primary Function

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing production as well as the scheduling and coordination of all on-site construction activities, safety programs, and quality initiatives to deliver projects on time and under budget.

Educational Background

College degree in a construction-related field preferred. High school diploma with ample work experience accepted.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant trade experience on highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects, with responsibility for crew management, document review, and production — or — post-secondary study resulting in a Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience running work.
