The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing production as well as the scheduling and coordination of all on-site construction activities, safety programs, and quality initiatives to deliver projects on time and under budget.
College degree in a construction-related field preferred. High school diploma with ample work experience accepted.
Minimum 5 years of relevant trade experience on highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects, with responsibility for crew management, document review, and production — or — post-secondary study resulting in a Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience running work.
Microsoft Office products, basic knowledge of scheduling software, and Total Station.
Long-term assignment to the jobsite location, which could be further than a reasonable commute distance from home.
