Job summary

Rice Lake West is seeking a Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities along the Front Range of Colorado. You will manage production, coordinate trades and crews, lead safety programs, and drive quality to meet project specs while delivering on time and under budget.

The role requires 5+ years in highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction and a degree in a construction-related field (or equivalent experience). Long-term field assignment with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant trade experience on highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction.
• Post-secondary study leading to Construction Management or Civil Engineering with at least 2 years running work.

We have an immediate, full-time, long-term opening for a Superintendent at project sites along the Front Range between Pueblo, CO and Fort Collins, CO.

Primary Function

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing production as well as the scheduling and coordination of all on-site construction activities, safety programs, and quality initiatives to deliver projects on time and under budget.

Educational Background

College degree in a construction-related field preferred. High school diploma with ample work experience accepted.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant trade experience on highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects, with responsibility for crew management, document review, and production — or — post‑secondary study resulting in a Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience running work.
