Job summary

Valor is seeking a kitchen prep team member responsible for high-quality food preparation, plating, and maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen. You will handle pantry and fry station tasks, follow recipes, and assist with line setup and food presentation.

The role requires 3–6 months in a food/beverage environment, basic knife skills, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Competitive salary with daily pay options and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–6 months in a food/beverage environment.
• Knowledge of operating industrial ovens and cooking ranges.
• Basic cooking and knife handling skills.
• Understand safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• English reading and speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage portions.
• Ensure proper food dating and rotation; maintain sanitation.
• Check pars, plan prep, and set up line.
• Assist in buffet stocking and waste control.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
