Snooze East Austin is hiring a Host to welcome guests, manage the flow, and keep the dining area inviting. You’ll handle the host stand, coffee station, and patio, seat guests promptly, answer phones, and assist servers as needed.

This role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and ensuring a smooth guest experience in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant. Qualifications include being at least 17, having basic POS familiarity, and obtaining county food and alcohol licenses before starting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service recommended, not required.
• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome each guest into our home and thank them when they leave.
• Seat each guest in a timely manner and manage the waitlist iPad system.
• If on a wait, keep the crowd excited and having FUN.
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate to servers as needed.
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables.
