Job summary

TS2 Hospitality seeks a Hotel Breakfast Associate to start early and deliver friendly, efficient service each morning. You will prepare breakfast items, maintain a clean dining area, and work with front desk to meet guest demand while minimizing waste.

You'll follow food safety guidelines, complete logs, and collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience. The role offers visibility and growth within a family-owned Kansas City area company.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and commitment to small team work.
• Deliver excellent guest service in every interaction.
• Vigorously follow food safety protocols and procedures.
• Previous food experience helps but is not required.
• Comfortable being the only food & beverage employee on shift.
• Reliable attendance with flexible weekday/weekend/holiday availability.
• Early starts (as early as 5am) and ability to multitask.
• Strong communication skills for guests and teammates.
• Able to handle stress calmly and pass a drug test/background check.
• Must meet essential job duties and pass required assessments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally and courteously in the breakfast area.
• Cook and prepare breakfast items; tear down and clean all areas after each shift.
• Anticipate breakfast demand with front desk and minimize waste.
• Maintain clean buffet and beverage areas; promptly reset spaces.
• Follow food safety protocols and complete temperature logs as required.
• Receive deliveries, check documents, rotate products, and document issues.
• Identify items to order and communicate needs to the team.
• Solicit guest feedback and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete required trainings and participate in meetings.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance for a seamless guest experience.
