Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Tysons Corner in Vienna, VA is seeking a Morning/Breakfast Cook to start the day with guest-ready breakfasts and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen. You’ll work closely with the culinary TEAM to deliver fresh, high-quality items and contribute to a positive, fast-paced morning service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook, breakfast cook, line cook, or in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
• Experience with a Hilton brand or luxury hotel is a plus.
• Motivated food service professionals who are eager to learn and grow are encouraged to apply.
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for preparing quality food.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced morning kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling practices.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong TEAM player.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary education or formal training is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes, quality standards, and hotel guidelines
• Prepare a variety of breakfast favorites, including eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, and other menu selections
• Set up and maintain breakfast cooking stations and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for service
• Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and held at the proper temperatures
• Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Monitor food levels and communicate replenishment needs to the culinary TEAM
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Properly label, date, and store food products to maintain freshness and minimize waste
• Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as neededWork closely with the breakfast and culinary TEAM to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen environment
