Job summary

Suburban Inns is seeking a Breakfast Cook for Embassy Suites Downtown GR in Grand Rapids, MI. Prepare and cook breakfast orders, light prep work, and maintain clean, sanitary work areas to ensure guest satisfaction.

Shifts are 5:00am-1:00pm with weekend availability required. Wage starts at $17/hr based on experience; internship option may be available. Benefits include health/vision/dental, PTO, hotel discounts, holiday pay, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and perform arithmetic as needed.
• Strong communication with guests and team members.
• Food and beverage service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast orders and light prep work.
• Clean and maintain dishes and work areas to high sanitary standards.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and health regulations.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the breakfast station.
• Provide friendly guest service and timely order fulfillment.
