Job summary

Suburban Inns' Hilton Garden Inn in Grand Rapids is seeking a Breakfast Cook for a part-time morning role. Shift times are M-F 5:30am–11am and weekends 6am–12pm. Starting wage is $17/hour and is negotiable based on experience; position may be used as a paid internship.

The role involves preparing items for dining room orders and events while following health standards and Suburban Inns' brand guidelines. A strong focus on guest satisfaction is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to interpret information and perform basic arithmetic.
• Willingness to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items per make sheets/recipes for dining room orders and events.
• Set up service units and maintain portions and presentation standards.
• Keep work areas clean, sanitary, and in compliance with health regulations.
• Notify Kitchen Manager of shortages and assist with prep station setup/breakdown.
• Adhere to Suburban Inns standards and guest satisfaction goals.
