Job summary

StepStone Hospitality is seeking a dependable Breakfast Attendant to support the daily complimentary breakfast operation at Residence Inn near Universal. You will prepare and cook breakfast items, maintain a clean and stocked area, assist guests, and prep for the next service shift.

The role requires following food-safety standards, working independently, and staying organized during busy periods while ensuring a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, restaurant, or food & beverage breakfast service is preferred.
• Food-handler certification or ability to obtain required food-safety certification within the required timeframe.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist during breakfast service.
• Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and safety standards.
• Set up breakfast buffet and ensure required items are available.
• Complete daily prep lists and communicate shortages to supervision.
• Maintain organized refrigeration and storage with FIFO rotation.
• Sanitize tables, counters, and equipment during service.
• Store remaining food safely and restock for next day.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain a positive demeanor.
