Residence Inn near Universal Orlando is seeking a dependable Breakfast Attendant to support the daily complimentary breakfast service. The role involves preparing and cooking items, keeping the area clean and stocked, assisting guests, and ensuring smooth setup for service.

You will follow food-safety standards and brand guidelines, work independently during high-volume periods, and help prepare for the next day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food-handler certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, organization, and detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities during high-volume breakfast periods.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused when handling concerns or unexpected situations.
• Dependable and able to report for scheduled early-morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner during breakfast service.
• Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes, procedures, and food-safety requirements.
• Set up the breakfast buffet prior to opening and ensure supplies are available.
• Complete daily breakfast prep lists and communicate shortages to supervision.
• Maintain organized refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with FIFO practices.
• Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, buffet surfaces, and equipment throughout service.
• Store remaining food according to food-safety and hotel standards.
• Restock breakfast supplies and prepare the area for next day’s service.
• Anticipate guest needs and contribute to a positive overall experience.
• Maintain a calm, courteous demeanor during high-volume periods.
• Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures.
