Job summary

FLSmidth in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an Engineering Manager for the SummitPro™ line to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on electrowinning, ADR, and refining equipment. You will align engineering execution with product line strategy, oversee capital projects, and interface with SBL, Operations, and regional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and resources, champion safety by design, and travel to customer sites as needed to address

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, chemical or metallurgical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Experience supporting installed equipment in the field and willingness to travel.
• Professional Engineer registration will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the SummitPro engineering team on complex solutions.
• Oversee engineering resources, priorities and deadlines across projects.
• Own the engineering execution plan for capital projects and budgets.
• Translate SummitPro product line strategy into engineering plans with other functions.
• Govern design changes and spares configurations with Service Business Line (SBL).
• Ensure safety and containment by design, including cyanide and mercury controls.
