Zusammenfassung

FLSmidth in Salt Lake City invites applications for a Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering professional to support the Minerals Testing & Research Center. You will assist autoclave, roasting, leaching tests and other mineral processing tests to optimize flowsheet development.

You will prepare and operate advanced laboratory equipment, analyze results, and communicate findings to clients. Collaboration with engineers, technicians and R&D is essential to deliver safe, effective process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with autoclaving, roasting, leaching preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
• Ability to communicate with clients and develop work scopes.

• Promote a culture of personal and team safety at the Minerals Testing & Research Center.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory bench and pilot equipment for mineral processing tests.
• Develop techniques to improve processes and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, technicians and R&D on testing programs.
• Evaluate tests and communicate results to clients.
