Job summary

Tinder is seeking a UX Research intern for a summer program in Los Angeles, operating in a hybrid role with in‑office collaboration three times per week. You’ll join the UX Research team to study how users interact with the product and present findings to the team at the end of the internship.

You’ll partner with researchers, designers, PMs, and data scientists, owning a defined piece of a project and turning discoveries into clear recommendations for product and design.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Design, Psychology or related field.
• Hands‑on research experience from coursework, labs, capstone, or internship.
• Familiar with qualitative and quantitative methods like interviews, usability tests, and surveys.

Responsibilities

• Support live research by planning studies, recruiting participants, and running sessions.
• Run usability tests, user interviews, and assist with surveys design and deployment.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns and insights.
• Turn findings into actionable recommendations for Product and Design.
• Share work through concise reports, artifacts, and presentations.
• Help document UXR processes and deliver a capstone project to the team.
