Job summary

Tinder is seeking a Sr. Product Designer in Los Angeles, CA, to lead end‑to‑end design for major features. You will partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems, build wireframes and prototypes, and drive high‑quality design at scale.

Hybrid role with in‑office collaboration three days per week in Los Angeles. The team focuses on core browse and chat experiences, with strong emphasis on accessibility and user‑centred design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interaction, visual, and UX design.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience in cross‑functional teams and agile environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design for major product features from research to launch.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems and solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visuals to communicate concepts and flows.
• Advocate for user needs and accessibility throughout development.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to design system evolution.
• Present design decisions to stakeholders and balance user and business needs.
