Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a User Experience intern for the summer 2027. The internship is in person, five days a week, located in Lansing, Michigan.

The role supports the User Experience team and involves user research, information architecture, and collaboration with design and development teams. Ideal candidates are college students entering their junior or senior year, with strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Student should be currently enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college when going into the summer 2025 internship.

Responsibilities

• Review project assignments with management and with project teams.
• Conduct and analyze user research, including usability studies, user interviews and surveys.
• Develop information architecture needed for web development and user interactions.
• Work with prototyping and graphics software.
• Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere upon request.
