Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a User Experience intern for the summer of 2027. The internship is in person, 5 days a week, located in Lansing, MI.

The pay rate starts at $18.00 per hour and the role focuses on user research, information architecture, prototyping, and collaboration with design teams. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in college as juniors or seniors, with strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with CSS/HTML/JavaScript and

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a college student, entering junior or senior year, for the summer 2025 internship.
• Ability to apply problem-solving skills to create process.
• Organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Preferred understanding of CSS, HTML/XML, JavaScript, image editing, interface design, usability testing and information architecture.
