Job description

Job Title: Camp Counselor - Travel Programs

Join us at St. Andrew's Parks and Playground as a Summer Travel Camp Counselor! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals passionate about working with children aged 5-12 to join our summer camp team.

This seasonal position runs from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025. Camp locations include the gymnasium at 1095 Playground Road, Family Fitness Plus at 1642 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, and Forest Lakes Park at 1820 Gun Club Road. Experienced counselors may advance to Lead or Manager roles with higher pay.

Responsibilities include engaging children in games and activities, supervising during camp hours, and assisting with camp operations. Pre-camp training sessions are mandatory and scheduled from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on select dates in May and June.

Compensation ranges from $13.25 to $15.50 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include a full family membership to the fitness center, free camp T-shirts, and a low-cost medical care membership option.
