Job summary

The City of Laguna Beach is seeking motivated applicants for the Transit Ambassador (Part-Time) for the Summer Season. The role reports to the Transit Supervisor and involves helping passengers, sharing information about the city and events, and assisting with parking lot operations during late evenings and weekends.

Eligible applicants are at least 16 years old, with under-18s requiring a Work Permit. Prior public contact experience is desirable and a live scan background check may be required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old; applicants under 18 must have a Work Permit.
• Prior public contact work experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding/alighting trolleys and provide information about Laguna Beach and events.
• Provide parking lot assistance with pay stations and keep lots clean.
• Safely lift and carry equipment needed to set up daily operations.
