Job summary

The City of Laguna Beach is seeking an experienced Transit and Parking Manager to lead the operations of the Trolley, Laguna Local, and parking programs within the Transit and Parking Division. The role focuses on strategic planning, fiscal responsibility, and exceptional service delivery in a dynamic coastal community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years of admin experience in transit/parking
• Two years of supervisory experience required
• California Driver’s license and driving record required

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of Transit and Parking Divisions including Trolley, Laguna Local, and parking programs.
• Develop division goals, policies, and strategies aligned with City priorities.
• Manage division budget, contracts, vendors, and grants.
• Coordinate parking operations including meters, enforcement, and revenue collection.
• Collaborate to improve transit services, accessibility, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Lead and develop division staff with clear performance expectations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for City management and City Council.
