Job summary

LPL Financial invites applications for a 10-week Strategy & Growth Intern position, located in Fort Mill, SC, with optional San Diego, CA office access. You will support strategic initiatives, perform research, and contribute to projects affecting advisor and client experiences.

The program emphasizes professional development, networking, mentorship, and real-world impact, with a 40-hour work week during the summer, and a priority application window.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, Marketing, Management, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
• Demonstrated interest in strategy, business operations, client experience, project management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic initiatives and business priorities across the Strategy & Growth organization.
• Conduct research, analysis, and project work to support business growth, advisor engagement, and client activation efforts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Develop presentations, communications, and other materials for leadership discussions and decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support project execution and organizational initiatives.
• Participate in professional development, networking, and learning opportunities throughout the internship experience.
• Present insights, recommendations, and project outcomes to leaders at the conclusion of the program.
