Job summary

LPL Financial LLC is seeking an intern for the FAR Program, a paid ten-week summer internship supporting one risk management, operations, compliance, or fraud team at our Fort Mill/Charlotte office. The program includes networking, mentorship, and leadership sessions.

The intern will work on one team for the duration, with opportunities to contribute to real-world initiatives and professional development. Ideal candidates are sophomores/juniors with a 3.0+ GPA and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Preferences: GPA of 3.3 or higher, exposure to financial operations processes, service level agreements, customer satisfaction.
• Leadership experience through student organizations, internships, or projects.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 platforms.
• Effective communication, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support one of LPL’s core risk, operations, or compliance teams based on skillset and business needs.
• Engage in networking, group projects, social and wellness events, and mentorship sessions during the internship.
• Work on one team for the entire internship duration and contribute to real-world initiatives.
