Citizens Bank is looking for a Software Engineer Intern for the 2027 Enterprise Technology & Security Summer Internship Program in Johnston, RI. You will collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, and implement technology solutions, gaining exposure to iOS/Android apps and API development.

During the 10-week program, you’ll learn modern engineering practices, contribute to microservices, and receive mentorship from senior leaders while exploring banking technology challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Development or related field.
• Expected graduation May 2028 and minimum GPA 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions in an agile environment.
• Build foundational experience with iOS/Android applications and API development.
• Contribute to a microservices framework and assist with system quality improvements.
