Job summary

Great Escape Parks is seeking Summer Seasonal Security Hosts/Hostesses to greet guests, screen entries, and help keep the park safe and welcoming all season long.

You’ll assist with guest screening at the entrance, reunify families, manage lost items, and provide general guest service throughout the park. If you’re calm, friendly, and people-oriented, you’ll make a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Friendly, calm, professional presence with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain positive and composed during busy or stressful moments.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
• Comfortable working outdoors and standing for long periods.
• Interest in safety, guest service, or park operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at entrance screening with a friendly approach.
• Operate screening equipment (metal detectors, wands, bag-check).
• Verify items comply with safety guidelines and keep lines moving.
• Assist lost parents and reunification efforts calmly and discreetly.
• Receive, log, and organize found items; assist guests searching for belongings.
• Provide park information and support crowd management during peak times.
• Monitor behavior and report safety concerns to supervisors.
• Coordinate with Security Supervisors and Guest Services; pass-down notes as required.
