Summer Seasonal Maintenance Technician $22 - $24/Hour – Minneapolis, MN

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our parking structures and equipment are always clean, functional, and operating at peak performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Regular Driver's License with a clean record
• Minimum age of 25 to drive for Interstate Parking, as per our insurance carrier
• Some technology and mechanical ability, able to troubleshoot machine issues using reason and logic
• Experience with machinery, tools, and technology
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Ability to work outside year-round
• High school diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and maintenance of parking gates, doors, and kiosks
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and technological issues
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs
• Collaborate with the operations team for improvements
• Maintain records of maintenance activities
• Perform cleaning and janitorial duties, including litter removal, trash disposal, snow removal, sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and power sweeping
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are always followed

Schedule

Seasonal, from May 15 through September 30, Monday to Friday, 5am – 1pm

Hours per week: 40
