Job summary

Actalent offers a ten-week, hourly paid internship designed to develop future sales professionals with hands-on experience in business development and client engagement. The program emphasizes the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with mentorship and shadowing across the team.

Interns will gain exposure to lead generation, candidate outreach, and the recruiting lifecycle, supported by training sessions and a capstone project presented at the end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising Senior.
• Pursuing a sales degree, major or certification or member of a sales program on campus is preferred.
• Prior customer service, campus leadership, or sales experience is a plus.
• Strong interest in sales and business/client development.
• Competitive, motivated, and comfortable working toward activity goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential clients.
• Support account executives with lead research, market mapping, and target list development.
• Learn to make sales calls, craft outreach messages, and nurture early-stage client relationships.
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client materials.
