Job summary

Actalent invites students to join its 10-week summer sales internship designed to develop hands-on skills in business development and client engagement. Interns will gain exposure to outbound prospecting, lead research, and candidate outreach while receiving training and mentorship through shadowing and coaching.

The program emphasizes sales, recruiting lifecycle basics, and real-world impact in consulting and client services.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising Senior.
• Pursuing a sales degree, major or certification or member of a sales program on campus is preferred.
• Prior customer service, campus leadership, or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential clients.
• Support account executives with lead research, market mapping, and target list development.
• Learn to make sales calls, craft outreach messages, and nurture early-stage client relationships.
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client materials.
• Participate in sales meetings, deal strategy sessions, and pipeline reviews.
• Shadow sales professionals on client calls or visits to understand the full sales cycle.
• Track activity metrics and provide weekly progress updates on outreach and lead generation efforts.
