Job summary

TPG is seeking a Responsible Investing Research Assistant to support academic and industry research, prepare thought leadership, and drive improved performance on responsible investing and sustainability across the firm’s global portfolio.

This internship is for early June–late August 2027, offering a hands-on opportunity to work with teams on human capital management, climate, and other sustainability topics within a leading global asset manager.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
• Located in one of the allowed states during the internship.
• Pursuing Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Business, Economics, Public Administration or related field.
• Experience or interest in responsible investing, climate/sustainability, or finance.
• Strong ability to conduct and synthesize market research, with excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support academic and industry research on social impact of investments.
• Prepare thought leadership and contribute to sustainability analyses.
• Engage with portfolio companies on responsible investing topics.
