Job summary

Senior Health Services is seeking second-year pharmacy students for a fully remote, paid summer internship to support quality improvement metrics for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Medicare population.

Interns will work 40 hours per week from mid-May to mid-August, with equipment provided. Responsibilities include outreach to patients and providers to support CMS Stars measures and learning about Part D in a managed care setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD program with GPA 3.0+ is preferred.
• Two years of PharmD completion is mandatory.
• Experience in hospital or community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver presentations on assigned topics.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries; maintain confidentiality.
• Assemble member communications and educate patients on medication topics.
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacists to develop and execute projects.
