Momentive invites applications for a Summer 2027 Reliability Engineer Intern. You will support Asset Health Map initiatives, analyze equipment performance, and help advance predictive and preventive maintenance efforts across the site.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Rising junior, senior, or graduate-level student preferred.
• Ability to work safely within an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Asset Health Mapping & Reliability Analytics: support Asset Health Map development and data analysis to improve asset health visibility.
• Predictive & Preventive Maintenance Improvements: assist in maintenance optimization and data-driven decision-making.
• Asset Criticality & Risk Assessment: participate in risk-based prioritization models and asset reviews.
• Reliability Investigations & Root Cause Analysis: help with investigations and corrective actions for reliability issues.
• Capital Planning & Mechanical Reliability: contribute to long-range replacement strategies and asset lifecycle assessment.
• Process Safety & Site Reliability: support safety reviews and incident investigations.
• Data Visualization & Reporting: develop dashboards and present findings to stakeholders.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and other teams.
