Summer Recreation Assistant (PT) - Lake Almanor Country Club (Lake Almanor, CA)

Summary:

Join our team for an exciting summer at the Recreation Center! We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to assist with recreational activities, beach operations, and guest services.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with guests, and creating a fun and safe environment.

Work Hours:

• Part-time seasonal employment available.

Compensation:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in recreation, customer service, or similar roles is a plus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recreation Activities:
  • Assist in organizing and leading activities such as lawn games, arts and crafts, and sandcastle building.
  • Encourage guest participation and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Beach & Facility Maintenance:
  • Set up and clean the beach and recreation areas before and after activities.
  • Monitor the beach and recreation spaces for safety concerns and report any issues.
• Guest Services & Sports Center Operations:
  • Work in the Sports Center handling cash transactions.
  • Reserve courts and check in guests for their scheduled play times.
  • Provide friendly and helpful service to all members and guests.
