Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites you to a 10-12‑week internship in the Wilmington/New Castle area to join the Rail Asset Management and Performance Center (RAMP). You’ll learn how to monitor railroad vehicle fleet performance, analyze failure data, and contribute to root-cause investigations for more reliable trains.

The role focuses on developing hands-on data skills with Weibull analysis and analytical programs such as Power BI and Spotfire, collaborating with engineering and performance teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or similar).
• Experience with data analysis and BI tools is a plus.
• Willingness to learn about rail systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Learn standard RAMP processes and data workflows.
• Analyze locomotive fleet performance and remote diagnostic data.
• Conduct Weibull analyses and develop reports in BI tools.
