Job summary

Tru Vue Inc. is hiring interns for Summer 2027 across Cincinnati, OH, Faribault, MN and Louisville, KY. The 12-week program May–August offers hands-on project experience, mentorship from industry experts, and involvement with engineering and production teams on the manufacturing floor.

Interns gain exposure to process improvement, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives while developing professional skills and a strong manufacturing engineering foundation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical).
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing during internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside quality, engineering, and production teams on real projects.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor learning processes, equipment, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Collect and analyze production data.
• Support process improvement, equipment, tooling, and layout projects.
• Assist with time studies, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Help implement engineering solutions and see projects through to completion.
