Job summary

Jobtailor in New York invites rising sophomores to join our Business Technology internship as a QA/Test Engineer. You will assist with test case creation, perform functional and regression testing, and support automated testing efforts while collaborating with software and business teams.

You'll participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, prepare QA reports and dashboards for stakeholders, and contribute to delivering high-quality software within Agile processes.

Qualifications

• Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college
• Area of study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
• Must have a 3.5 or higher GPA
• Ability to work 38.75 hours per week
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while working collaboratively
• Proficient MS Office skills
• Customer service oriented with S.T.A.R. approach
• Background, fingerprint, credit checks and drug screen as required

• Assist with administrative functions supporting Business Technology division daily objectives
• Gain exposure to planning, execution and evaluation stages of work projects and initiatives
• Meet weekly with the Internship Cohort, Executive Leadership, and division-level leaders
• Summarize and present a capstone presentation covering internship experience, project accomplishments, skill development, and key learnings
• Serve as a key member of the Agile intern team in the Systems Test Engineer role
• Create detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Validate delivered functionality and ensure development outputs meet expected results and quality standards
