Job summary

CSX Corporation invites eligible students to join its 10-week Summer Internship Program at CSX Headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. The program runs May 24, 2027 through July 30, 2027, and interns receive competitive hourly compensation and on-site housing support.

Qualifications

• Be a rising senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, business administration, information technology, or law.
• Be available to work up to 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PTC teams to prepare and organize submissions to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
• Assist PTC teams with compiling and analyzing PTC performance data.
• Identify trends, issues, or anomalies in PTC reporting data for management review.
• Research and summarize FRA regulations, guidance and industry standards affecting PTC.
• Collaborate with PTC teams on the development of recurring reports.
• Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manage.
