Job summary

CSX is offering a 10-week Procurement/Supply Chain internship at our Jacksonville headquarters. You will work on challenging assignments that sharpen decision-making and financial performance while gaining exposure to CSX methods and culture.

You'll cultivate partner relationships, analyze tradeoffs, support operations reviews, and help shape short- and long-term procurement strategies. The program includes housing support and opportunities for executive networking and site visits.

Qualifications

• Be a rising senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Be available to work up to 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with business partners to analyze marketing, operating, and capital projects to understand economic tradeoffs and help make real-time business decisions.
• Provide analytical support for operations reviews, resource allocations, and financial valuations.
• Help guide the development of short- and long-term strategies for supply chain and procurement of resources.
• Consult and communicate analyses through presentations to senior management in the department and business partners from other departments.
