Job summary

CSX invites students to a 10-week Summer Internship Program at CSX Headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. The on-site role offers housing support and competitive hourly pay, with potential for a co-op extension based on location and performance.

You will work across departments, gain cross-functional exposure, and participate in executive networking events and site visits to build valuableConnections within CSX.

Qualifications

• Be a rising senior or graduate student with anticipated graduation Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Maintain a 3.0+ GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in listed fields.
• Available to work up to 40 hours per week for 10 weeks.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Review, design and implement analytics platform to monitor mechanical car reliability, repair and production.
• Partner with Facilities, Mechanical Car/Locomotive and Transportation to support CSX Network.
• Perform miscellaneous activities assigned by Manager.
