CSX Corporation invites highly motivated students to a 10-week summer internship in the Finance Department at CSX Headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. Interns tackle real-world finance projects, work with leaders across the company, and gain exposure to senior executives.

Requirements include rising senior or graduate status with 3.2 GPA, strong communication and leadership, and 18+ years old. Housing may be available; opportunity for full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Be a rising senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects that support major business initiatives and influence company decision-making.
• Develop financial models to quantify benefits and drive sound economic decisions.
• Provide analytical support for operations reviews, resource allocations, and financial valuations.
• Guide the development of short- and long-term forecasts, plans, and strategies.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, BI, and AI-enabled tools to analyze performance and support decisions.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to analyze marketing, operating, and capital projects.
• Present analyses and recommendations to senior management and executives.
