Job summary

CSX, a Fortune 500 company based in Jacksonville, offers a 10-week accounting internship across Accounting & Reporting, Payroll, or Billing. Interns will work on real projects, gain hands-on experience, and network with industry professionals.

You will participate in core accounting activities, collaborate with teams, complete cross-functional projects, and prepare analyses; housing support is available for eligible interns, with on-site work at CSX Headquarters.

Qualifications

Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited institution.
Be available to work up to 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Participate in and learn core areas of the accounting organization.
Contribute to special projects that support field employees, technology initiatives, customer relationships, financial and liquidity objectives, as well as reporting and compliance.
Engage in process improvement projects.
Conduct accounting research and analysis.
Communicate the results of research and analyses to department leaders.
Complete cross-functional projects and miscellaneous activities as assigned by manager.
