Job summary

The Raymond Group is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for its 2027 Summer Internship Program in Orange, California. Interns work full time for about 10 weeks from late May through mid-August 2027.

You will support project engineers and field leadership on commercial construction projects, handling submittals, RFIs, takeoffs, and documentation for the project team. Strong candidates have construction management or engineering coursework (or equivalent) with GPA 2.5+ or at least two years of

• Enrollment in Construction Management or Engineering (or equivalent) with GPA 2.5 or higher.
• OR at least two years of construction field experience.
• Able to work full time on site in Orange, CA for the Summer 2027 program (about 10 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Support project engineers and field leadership on commercial construction projects.
• Assist with submittals and RFIs, takeoffs, and quantity work.
• Provide schedule updates, meeting notes, and site walk documentation.
• Maintain clear documentation for the project team.
