Job summary

The Raymond Group in Orange, CA invites you to apply for a 2027 Summer Internship as a Project Engineer Intern. This is a full-time, fully paid 10-week program from late May to mid-August 2027, offering tailored tracks in project management, estimating, or other business units.

You will work with a dedicated mentor, gain marketable experience on active sites, and have direct access to executives for feedback and growth discussions.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Construction Management or Engineering degree (GPA 2.5+).
• At least two years of construction field experience.
• Collaborative mindset with a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in contract reviews, process submittals, manage RFIs, and assist with PO and change orders.
• Contribute to initial take-offs and compile final project close-out documents.
• Assist in tracking and maintaining master schedules to meet cost, safety, and quality targets.
• Attend internal meetings to observe decision-making processes.
• Visit active projects to see planning become reality and observe site safety practices.
• Support quality-control inspections and safety walkthroughs with field experts.
