Job summary

Amrize AGG Project Engineering Intern position is based at the Plano, TX site. The role provides hands-on exposure to production, maintenance, and data-driven optimization within our aggregates team. You’ll work with geology, engineering and safety teams to understand operations and deliver practical improvements.

This 10-week paid internship emphasizes sustainability and a high-performance culture. A final presentation to executives is part of the program, with potential paths to full-time

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate enrollment in a related engineering field.
• Strong academic performance with solid engineering fundamentals.
• Geographic flexibility to work at multiple sites.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Dive into operational procedures, production and maintenance activities.
• Collect and analyze data to develop improvement strategies.
• Gain exposure to daily mine operations including drilling and loading.
• Learn maintenance and operation of heavy mining equipment.
• Collaborate across geology, engineering and safety teams.
• Assist in implementing safety protocols and procedures.
• Apply skills daily and contribute to team goals.
• Present learnings and contributions to executive leadership at internship end.
