Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks an Environmental Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 at the Midlothian, TX cement plant.

This 10-week, paid internship begins June 1, 2027, and offers hands-on experience in environmental practices, data collection, and field engagement. You will collaborate with the team to improve environmental initiatives, perform inspections, analyze data, and present outcomes to leadership at the program's end.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate major in Environmental, Chemical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong academic performance and understanding of engineering principles.
• Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proactive and collaborative.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field.

Responsibilities

• Environmental program enhancement and participation in continuous improvement of environmental initiatives.
• Field engagement with plant employees and contractors to guide environmental practices.
• Perform inspections, monitoring, and testing of equipment, processes, and emissions for compliance.
• Collect and analyze environmental data (air, water, waste, energy) to identify trends and improvements.
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies and a culture of safety.
• Apply skills collaboratively to achieve team and company goals.
• Present learnings and contributions to executive leadership at internship end.
