Job summary

Summer Search Seattle is seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to manage behind-the-scenes program operations, ensuring smooth execution of our Summer Experience and outreach efforts. Reporting to the Director of Programs, you will help recruit participants, coordinate logistics, and support site leadership to deliver high‑quality experiences for students and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in operational or nonprofit program roles.
• Strong project management with multiple workstreams.
• Adaptable, solutions‑oriented, and curious.
• Accountability, clear communication, and stakeholder service.
• Cultural humility and respect for diverse communities.
• Technical comfort with databases; Salesforce is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Summer Experience logistics for 130+ high school students on 2–4 week programs.
• Manage travel, hotel bookings, visas, immunizations, insurance, IDs, and funds.
• Coordinate pre/post trip events, orientations, workshops, equipment, and integration activities.
• Support site staff training in student preparation and family engagement.
• Develop and evaluate process improvements with site leadership.
• Serve as point of contact with partners hosting summer experiences.
• Use Salesforce to track applications and share timely updates.
• Attend program cohort meetings and stay updated on policies.
