Job summary

Summer Search Seattle is seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to oversee the behind-the-scenes operations that enable high-quality programming for participants. The role focuses on recruiting new participants and coordinating meaningful summer experiences, reporting to the Director of Programs, and collaborating with site leadership for smooth operations.

The position emphasizes operational efficiency, data tracking in Salesforce, and strong communication with partners, families, and schools

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in operational or non-profit program roles.
• Experience with participant recruitment and/or summer programs is a plus.
• Familiarity with data systems and compliance in program operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate summer experiences logistics for 130+ high school students on 2–4 week programs.
• Manage travel, hotel bookings, visas, immunization records, and health insurance applications.
• Organize pre/post-trip events and training for site staff annually.
• Improve operations with site leadership to streamline processes.
• Serve as point of contact with partner organizations and manage communications.
• Track applications in Salesforce and share timely updates with stakeholders.
• Attend cohort meetings and stay updated on policies and guidelines.
