Job summary

Marlboro County Schools is seeking enthusiastic Rising High School Seniors and Graduating Seniors for the Seasonal Maintenance/Summer Student Worker position. This role involves helping lead various activities, providing mentorship to younger students, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

The position offers valuable experience and a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, from June 4 to June 26, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old by the start date.
• Reliable transportation to assigned school site.
• Ability to pass a standard school district background check/fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Help lead recreational games, arts and crafts, STEM projects, and team-building activities.
• Provide mentorship and academic assistance to campers.
• Assist lead teachers in monitoring students for safety.
• Help prepare daily materials and organize classrooms.
• Participate in daily morning briefings with staff.
