Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Programs at Milton Union Exempted Village School for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts (6:45 AM–7:45 AM; 2:45 PM–6:00 PM).

You will facilitate activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum, provide a safe and engaging environment, and support operations such as attendance and registration.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands‑on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
