Job summary

UW Interco, LLC is hiring interns for Summer 2027 in Louisville, KY and other locations. The 12-week program runs May–August and offers hands-on project experience, professional development, and regular mentoring.

Interns will work with quality, engineering, and production teams on real projects, spend time on the manufacturing floor, and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives. Opportunities include leadership exposure and networking with the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• Sophomore/Junior/Senior standing at internship time.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Work with quality, engineering and production teams on real projects.
• Spending time on the manufacturing floor to learn processes and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Collect and analyze production data.
• Support process improvement and lean initiatives.
• Help implement engineering solutions through to completion.
