Job summary

Covestro is seeking a summer intern for the Procurement group at our North American headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. The 12-week program supports planning, analysis and procurement of strategic materials and services to keep facilities running efficiently and cost-effectively.

You'll work alongside experienced procurement professionals, may visit a plant or warehouse, and contribute to projects that improve everyday operations.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with an emphasis in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Chemical or Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or International Business.
• Completion of Freshman year.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, analysis and procurement of materials and services.
• Collaborate with procurement professionals to maintain efficient operations.
• Gain exposure to SAP and procurement processes across multiple sites.
• Potential visits to plants or warehouses for hands-on insight.
