Momentive is offering a Summer 2027 Process Engineer Intern role. You will work with experienced engineers to improve manufacturing performance, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement projects in chemical production processes.

You’ll own projects from concept to execution and collaborate across Operations, Quality, Reliability, and EHS teams to deliver measurable results. You will build problem-solving and project management skills in a real manufacturing setting, gaining hands-on

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate data and identify improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify downtime drivers and optimize OEE.
• Conduct root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process improvements and waste reduction.
• Develop business cases and quantify savings for recommended actions.
• Support quality initiatives to improve product consistency and COPQ reduction.
• Lead projects from concept to completion with clear milestones and reporting.
